Fictional, read-only LedgerLoop example. Follow the information through BDIS; nothing here changes a real assessment or provides professional advice.
Human review boundary
Review the findings before deciding what happens next.
BDIS organizes the current record. A human records the reasoned next step; review does not itself clear a gate or approve an investment.
- BDIS records: The reviewer, disposition, rationale, and follow-up against the current decision packet.
- LedgerLoop example: Hold for constraint resolution: the regulatory review is missing and the blocker remains unresolved.
- Follow-up: Define launch scope, obtain review material, evaluate it against the criterion, and reconsider the updated record.
- When information changes: An earlier review may no longer apply to the current packet and needs reconsideration.
Possible review outcomes
Choose the next accountable step.
The recorded review can direct further work rather than force a premature conclusion.
- Continue validation: Follow the current next action and record the resulting evidence or experiment outcome.
- Request more evidence: Gather or evaluate the material needed for another review.
- Hold for constraint resolution: Return to the blocker and its verification task.
- Ready for owner decision: Consider finalization readiness; other requirements still apply.
- Do not proceed: Preserve the record and reconsider only if new evidence or redesign warrants a revision.
Decision boundary
Readiness is not automatic approval.
This example ends with further verification required—not launch approval or a recommendation to invest.
- BDIS separates: Human review, gate status, and finalization requirements.
- The human decides: What action to take within the evidence and constraints of the current record.
- Outside BDIS: Professional opinions and any required external approvals remain external work.
